  I bought a used joke book over the weekend that was printed in 1944. It's amazing how much humor has changed. The book had jokes about things like killing cats as if that were commonplace back then. And the racial humor was stuff that could never be printed these days.  ¶ 11:28 PM

  So Comedy Central released their Top 100 Stand-Ups of all time list. It's a good list of comics, but far from a definitive ranking. I think the biggest problem with the list is that they seemed to do the ranking based on their entire career, and not just on their ability as a stand-up. Paula Poundstone has no business even being on the list, no matter what the criteria. Maybe I'll do my own list sometime. Nah, that's too much work.
