Yaaaaaaaaaay! I got my new car! I put 176 miles on it the first day- which at $1.65/gallon would have been $18.15 in gas with my Camaro at 16MPG, while with the Prius it is $5.48 at 53MPG- a savings of $12.67. This rocks. I don't drive that much every day, but if I average 500 miles a week that calculates as follows:
1992 Camaro- $51.56 per week in gas, $206.25 per month
2004 Prius- $15.57 per week in gas, $62.27 per month
That saves enough $$$ to pay for the insurance.

  OK, a weird night at the Cock and Bull in Santa Monica (heh heh- I said "cock"). I did an OK set- I worked on standing still while telling my jokes. After Dixon Matthews pointed out to me that I walk around strangely while I'm doing my material, I figured I'd try to stand still and make more deliberate motions, rather than just walk about at random. But a few comics after I went up, someone on stage told a joke with a premise somehow loosely based on child molesters. The bartender FLIPPED OUT and started yelling at the guy- everyone fell deadly silent, while he just yelled at this comic who eventually left. I guess I won't be telling any Elizabeth wasn't all that Smart but at least she's not a virgin jokes there....  ¶ 12:05 AM
