| Chucklemonkey | This is the best resource for a comic I've found on the Internet. We all owe Ken Pringle a bit of thanks for putting it together. |
| Roadcomics.com | Great message boards for discussing all aspects of comedy. |
| Comedy Store | My favorite of the LA comedy clubs- I hope to perform there someday. |
| Comedy Central | Channel 65 on my cable network, and probably the second most watched channel at my apartment. Want to know the first? Scroll down, it's on here... |
| Comics I Know (and like!) | |
| Dante | Truly one of the best people in the business. Funny, always trying to help other comics out, and the best damn teacher in all of comedy. |
| Eric Edwards | Very funny guy. He used to open for Dice, lost a lot of weight, and now has a one man show that is outstanding. |
| Ken Pringle | Funny comic from Alaska who happens to run Chucklemonkey- check his site out to see his commercials and some stand-up work. |
| Joey Medina | One of the Original Latin Kings of Comedy- he's hilarious, and a former boxer to boot. |
| Tanyalee Davis | Tanyalee inspires some of the biggest belly laughs I've ever had- if you ever have a chance to see her show, GO DO IT! |
| Anthony Ramos | Dante's writing partner and a damn funny man in his own right. Go see his shows, but do yourself a favor- don't interrupt the show or you will become the subject of it. |
| Dan Rosenberg | Dan is a comic and soon to be club owner, with The Comedy District in Century City opening soon. |
| Rosie Tran | One of the hardest working comics I know- watch for big things from her in the future. |
| Bill Word | Bill runs the OC Comedy Festival, and a great room at Martini Blues. |
| Brett Walkow | Brett helps run the room at Yankee Doodle's Wednesdays, and is one of LA's top hip hop DJs when not doing stand-up. |
| Jeffrey Steele | Jeffrey Steele is a magician-comedian - or is it comedian-magician? Whatever it is, it's funny, and he has some good tricks up his sleeve. |
| Jubal Flagg | Jubal is a buddy of mine who you can see performing all around town- he's usually at the Canoga Bowl on Tuesdays. Check him out! |
| Josh Nasar | Josh is a tireless worker in the world of comedy- he runs a number of rooms, including the Belly Room at the Comedy Store on Fridays. |
| Erica Doering | Erica is a very funny comic and good friend of mine- look for her around town. |
| Dixon Matthews | Check out Dixon Matthews- master of Improv and a former wrestler for the greatest of all wrestling associations, Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). |
| Comics I Admire (who don't know who the hell I am!) | |
| Dave Attell | "Skanks for the Memories" has been wearing out my CD player- listen to and you'll never drink Eggnog again. |
| David Cross | One half of Mr. Show with Bob Odenkirk, his "Shut Up You Fucking Baby!" is probably the best comedy CD set I own. |
| Robert Schimmel | He is now and has always been the master of edgy humor- he's made a career out of telling original dick jokes. |
| Chris Rock | Watching his HBO specials lets you see a genius at work- one of the best of all time. |
| Paul Rodriguez | The man who put Latino comics on the map in White America- he's helped discover future greats like Joey Medina, as well as being fearlessly funny in his own right. |
| George Lopez | You've seen him on TV- his stand-up is even better. |
| Steve Martin | He was born a poor black child, then recorded Let's Get Small- and make a ton of funny movies. I don't need you- I don't need anything- except this ashtray... |
| Richard Pryor | Possibly the greatest stand-up comedian of all time. Just listen to as many of his albums as you can get your hands on. |
| Bob Newhart | He proved that you don't need to be dirty to be funny. |
| Ron White | Drunk in Public- I've listened to his CD about 20 times, and I've only had it a week. One of the funniest comics working today. |
